How does one look in the mirror, see that, and say "ok, this looks good, let's go." Beyond gross.

How Instagram closed my account and gave it to a football celebrity. submitted by robaco to technology

Found it interesting that this guy feels that his "rights" were violated. Instagram owns his account and he has no "right" to anything. Seems to me they can take his account at any time for any reason. They own it. Is it a dick move on their part? Sure, maybe. But are his "rights" being violated? Certainly not.

What's with the sudden need for Reddit to be unoffensive? Seems like they are afraid of everything now.

A $200 privacy device has been killed, and no one knows why submitted by techlovingeek to technology

JackWhite 4 points -2 points (+2|-4) ago

Correct me if I'm wrong here but perhaps the guy is acting out of conscience? If I created this device and got a call from someone at Homeland Security who explained to me how this device could be used to coordinate attacks against Americans and how this would protect bad actors, I might destroy the schematics too. Maybe for once greed didn't win? What if we could go back in time and convince those who theorized and created the atomic bond to abandon the project and destroy the research?

I can't think of a damn thing that Reddit does better than Voat. This place is the bomb.
