1888 Overall, Voat reminds me of Reddit in the olden days, where discussion is promoted, censorship is non-existent, and people are generally nicer here. Its like the cream on the top, whilst reddit has become the scum at the bottom. It may be sad, but that is how the story goes.

So, we flocked away to Voat. Can we stop talking about "you know what site" submitted by TobaccoBeard to AskVoat

I agree, I've been trying to leave Reddit for a while, and I just now became a Voater today. I basically only use reddit now for the HannibalTV sub, and if our efforts to renew that fail, I'm probably out. Its like a new start. Also, they've taken to calling the mass migration to Voat the "Redidit", and I approve of that immensely.
