Over-Sexualized submitted by ChippyTubes to funny

IndigoElectric 0 points 47 points (+47|-0) ago

This is my hypothesis, the common feminist isn't really upset at the sexualized nature of women in entertainment, but rather they are upset that women aren't all in a pre-agreed trust on the terms of the distribution of their sexuality.

In other words, the idea that another woman is sexualizing herself for money, career advancement, fame, or what have you, lowers the collective value of every other woman's sexuality. Especially the more unattractive ones.

Ultimately though, when the individual woman sees the opportunity to use her sexuality as currency, the benefit to oneself trumps the need to protect women's sexuality as a whole.

Again I'm referring to the specific amendment not to the entire document. You probably read the title to fast and are now try to cover for your stupidity.

No, but unconstitutional laws and even amendments get passed all the time. Some are even upheld by the supreme court if you can believe it
