What did you think of the movie American History X? submitted by IheartSwimming to AskVoat

Something nobody mentioned yet:

Originally the final scene had Derek (Norton's character) shaving his head again after his little brother got shot, but Norton objected so that ending got removed. The point of the film (with that ending included) is that hate is an endless cycle. Omitting that ending essentially turned the film into propaganda, as everyone else here says.

Because it's a money sink that will purposefully fill you with frustration unless you pay up. Early tiers are a blast, but as it goes on it gets worse and worse, with imbalances, pay to win elements and Skinner boxes. Plus the developers are scumbags, they've pulled off some EA-level shit several times. And to top it off, some antivirus programs aren't happy with the game's executable. With how scammy the game itself feels, I'd consider it a security risk. There's just too much shit to say about this game, but to be fair, I'll just say "try it but think hard before you pay for anything".

What's a brutaly unpopular opinion that you have about any video game or series? submitted by TheENDIsFuckingNeigh to gaming

MOBAs are all terrible competitive games. There's too much hidden information, there's very little skill involved, and typically the meta changes all the time, as radical updates are very frequent, so they can never reach an equillibrium of sorts, like most other competitive games have.

How would you feel if threads had an option of adding "No Moderation" Flair? submitted by Call_Me_Kelly to AskVoat

If downvotes are the answer, I would think there needs to be a threshold where after so many net negative points the post is removed.

This would only work if we assume that everyone only ever downvoats irrelevant content. Otherwise if people downvoat opinions they don't like, it essentially becomes censorship. And as awesome as voat is looking right now, there's no reason to not make all the systems futureproof. If something can be abused, it will be abused.

Hey Gamers of Voat! Can you experts actually identify "Shitty PS2 Graphics"? submitted by Gamestatistic to gaming

If you open these two images up in seperate tabs, the first tab should be called "MKX small.jpg" and the second one "Night Fire.jpg". Just look at the text on the tabs themselves, and on the very top of the browser's window when one of the tabs is selected.

I'm on Firefox, that might have something to do with it.
