Constant pun threads and shitty memes. Voat is what Reddit should have been - a place for intelligent discussion.

I may be an old stickler but I really don't feel like we should be a community that victimises children who have no control over what their parents feed them. Sure, teenagers but not young children (like a post that was put up recently).

I think the downvoat limit really helps stop that.

Does anyone else use Ride With GPS or a similar app to do live tracking/logging of their ride? submitted by beadyox to Bicycling

I use an app called 'Strava' which is really good for tracking your distance and speed and gives you a great map of your route with various details. I've only used it for shorter rides (30-50 miles) but it seems to have pretty good battery conservation.

Yeah that's a problem for longer rides, definitely. I get around this by using google maps app at the same time, but that's not ideal. It's still a pretty good way of tracking your ride though. No worries!

It seriously is worth a look at least, as it has some great extra features such as the community and competitive aspect.

And yeah, I agree. Seems like a good start already!
