I'm surprised the Mormons don't have their own scout group.

Why Do Liberals Always Say We Need "to Have a Dialogue" about X Issue, Instead of Just Saying "Talk"? submitted by GunsSaveLives to AskVoat

The only thing that I don't like about this answer is that I doubt that most liberals have that level of self-awareness.

Go for a walk in nature. Build a fire outside and roast a hotdog over it. Read a Psalm. Donate $5-10 to your favorite charity/political group. Do something to make someone else happy. Go fishing.

I think that lawyers are way too liberal, and I think it would be great if some of the folks from Voat would go into law/politics to help balance things out. If you are able to answer these sample LSAT question with little difficulty, then a career in law might be a good fit for you.

"As Emily [a former staffer for two Utah Republicans] explains in a detailed tweet chain, phone calls have to be dealt with when they occur and they can’t be ignored. A large volume of phone calls can be overwhelming for office staffers, but that means that their bosses hear about it."

You've come to the right place...

Without knowing more, I'd recommend placing your annual limit in a Roth-IRA. I think this is about $5,500 per year?

Also, there are a lot of banks with "high" interest rates on savings accounts (like 1.5%). Check out a website called "Doctor of Credit" for a regularly-updated article on banks with high interest rates. I don't recommend this for the long term, but if you should put your money in one now as you research and decide where to invest it more profitably. For example, if you decided to invest in real estate, it will take several months to find the right property, so you might as well be earning a little interest in the meantime.
