Man tests to see if google is listening through microphone, result is exactly what you'd expect. submitted by SebuttYopick to technology

This reminds me of the experiment where two redditors in Chicago set their phones next to a stereo playing Polish radio stations overnight and in the morning when they woke up to check facebook and check up on the news, all the ads were Polish.

Its been a weird day. submitted by TestForScience to whatever

Solution: eat 3 full meals a day, drink plenty of water, don’t over-do/under-do your sugar/caffeine intake, stay out in the sunlight for at least 20 mins a day, eat vegetables and meat, make sure you’re physically active for at least 30 mins a day, find a hobby (building PCs, working on cars, collecting and customizing guns, playing videogames, etc), and make sure you talk to at least 3 other humans each day, bare minimum. Sometimes those weird depressing feelings can be just a natural effect from your (lack of?) diet, exercise and healthy interaction. Hope that helps, dude.

According to a study in the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy, which cites the Centers for Disease Control, the U.S. National Academy of Sciences and the United Nations International Study on Firearms Regulation, the more guns a nation has, the less criminal activity.

In other words, more firearms, less crime, concludes the virtually unpublicized research report by attorney Don B. Kates and Dr. Gary Mauser. But the key is firearms in the hands of private citizens.

This is going to be my defacto “go fuck yourself” source for any cuckified libtard gungrabbing commie who tries to say otherwise. Libtards are gonna have a hard time disagreeing or disproving one of the left’s most accredited institutions.

True shit

The CLOUD Act would let cops get our data directly from big tech companies like Facebook without needing a warrant. Congress just snuck it into the must-pass omnibus package. submitted by Kannibal to technology

I haven’t seen this asked yet, so: what do we (individuals who currently still have a FB account) need to change, delete or otherwise get rid of in order to try to avoid getting totally fucked over by this bullshit? Delete everything? Or is it too late for that?

Would this also give them (if they don’t already have) access to view/read FB users’ private messages without a warrant?
