You asked a question and I'll give you an honest answer which you probably won't like.
I don't dislike Windows in general or Windows 10 in particular. I have no problem with it. I don't buy into the notion that it is malware or any of the other notions that I've heard expressed as criticisms. It works great for me. It's beautiful. It has been rock solid.
That said, I've used Linux also--since the mid-to-late 90s. I like Linux ok, but it has always been a bit of a pain in the ass. In the olden days, it was difficult to get drivers. Then it was difficult to get said drivers working. Even today, I find that I have to open Terminal to deal with Alsa drivers. Some popular Linux games (Nexuiz?) has consistently given me trouble over the years...I can NEVER get the sound working. Before Windows had multiple desktops, I appreciated that unique feature of Linux. But for the most part, Linux is utilitarian--it works for basic desktop stuff like browsing the web or using Libre Office. But I run those on Windows. There's no real compelling reason for me to spend time on Linux. Most software, especially games, are on Windows. I know that Steam is on Linux (I run it on Mint) but there's nothing special about it, and the majority of my games aren't there. And before you ask, yes, I've used WINE and it was a PITA.
I almost always receive a ton of downvoats when I discuss Linux & Windows because there are so many proponents of Linux on Voat who are rabid and will not abide anyone not agreeing with their narrative that Windows is horrible and Linux is the promised land. I've spent a lot of time on the other side of the fence, and the grass over on Linux ain't as green as folks around here make it out to be. I'm SICK of using Terminal. I find it inexcusable that well into the 21st Century, Linux STILL requires knowledge of the command-line interface to do a lot of stuff. I left DOS 6.22 behind in 1992, why the hell do I need to deal with that shit in 2016? I begrudgingly deal with Terminal in Android--but at least that's on my phones & tablets...I don't need that headache on a desktop OS.

Being able to voat is the cornerstone of the user experience. By raising the bar as high as you have, you are in effect limiting user's ability to participate fully. Upvoating and downvoating are one important way people express themselves. Your actions are designed to curb speech that you disagree with. This seems at odds with the ethos of Voat. If you believe there is a problem with brigading then the sensible approach would be to raise it to the admins and ask them to institute site - wide policies. What you are doing is nothing more than attempting to protect /u/she from criticism. Personally, I don't think either of you have acted in accordance to the needs of either Voat or this sub.

/u/She continues to bring unnecessary drama to Voat. These mod "interviews" clearly reveal that she is imposing a litmus test for anyone she makes a mod and is only accepting people who agree with a) Social Justice is important and b) that she was unfairly criticized for the shitstorm that recently rocked Voat. Whether or not the people she recently brought on as new mods lied to get the position is irrelevant to me. /u/She just keeps causing more unnecessary drama on Voat and she needs to fucking go. This sub, in particular, is now irrevocably tarnished by her antics. Shut this sub down and let /v/AskGoat be the default for the site.

Linux greybeards release beta of systemd-free Debian fork submitted by Troll to Linux

Linux lovers remind me of Communists....they hate anything corporate (e.g. Microsoft) but they constantly bicker amongst themselves about Linux "purity." Much like the early Communists they are constantly embroiled in internecine battles with factions splitting (forking) away to establish their own agenda. Linus Torvalds basks in a cult of personality and maintains a type of dictatorship over the kernel but you can tell that once he's out of the picture the whole project is likely to fracture like broken china.
Thanks to Julian Assange, the truth is loud and clear, Clinton is sick and confused, the media is corrupt, and the shills here at Voat are making a bad example for themselves every time they post. submitted by Rummel to politics

Trump is not a Republican, he's not a Conservative--if anything HE'S an agent of the Democrats. Trump has single-handily done more to damage the Republican Party and done more to broaden the Democrat Party than any other candidate in history. He's like the ultimate mole. He undermined 16+ Republican standard-bearers in the primary and made Republicanism look like the party of nutjobs, conspiracy-theorists, nativists, anti-POW and anti-military racists. He's REFUSED to do what he had promised (pivot) in the General Election and keeps "tweeting" stupid shit and making insane pronouncements that do nothing but alienate the vast majority of voters. Hell, if it weren't for how shitty a candidate Trump has been, Hillary wouldn't stand a chance. If you REALLY break it down to a conspiracy level, it makes MUCH MORE SENSE that Trump is an agent of the Democrats. He was ALWAYS a Democrat and/or held Democratic positions previously. Hell, he even PRAISED Hillary when she was his Senator.
I know you guys will pitch a fit about what I've written, but down deep you KNOW it's true. Trump has pretty much destroyed the Republican Party. He's turning Republican states Democrat. He's provoked massive infighting and mass exodus from the party. He's basically handing the election over to Hillary and if you need a conspiracy to explain all this shit--him being an agent of the Democrats is far more plausible based on the facts and results we have before us.

The reason Hillary has fewer people at her rallies is that they all have jobs and lives whereas Trump supporters are on his dick 24/7. This place is going to implode when she utterly humiliatingly destroys him in November. I predict that we'll have more than one homicide or suicide from the Trump faithful.
