Texas Permanently Bans Sharia Law submitted by MOF to news

Findurian 2 points 55 points (+57|-2) ago

Legal. Precedent. THAT'S IT. All you Sharia-loving idiots need to relax, and go back where Sharia is the law. This is just setting a precedent for legal reasons, so that in future, if there is a case, this can decide it. So stop being offended. I'm sure there's an anti-slavery law or two some of the Antebellum South hated, but they MOVED ON and now no plantations. Welcome to America, leave the Stone-Age at the border please.

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you would know how to work such a high-level job. Oh wait, that's because you've never held a job. You got there because you stuck by your cheating husband. My mistake.

McCain Dead. Womp Womp. submitted by DasReich to news

Too much hate peddled on every side these days. I never much cared for politics from this past millennia. I shall drink a health to the man he was when he wore a uniform.

For those who have played MMMORPGs: How often do raid bosses feel like a challenge and how often do bosses feel like farming subjects? submitted by killer7 to gaming

Findurian 1 points -1 points (+0|-1) ago

LOTRO has a good mix, I feel. Some bosses are farmable because everyone usually knows how to fight them after the first time. Other bosses are harder because there is a delicate sequence that must be followed, and those are harder because fewer people have done them or are familiar with them.

And still others have a glitch issue that causes them to bug out if you do certain things. It's a fun experience every time lol
