The good news is that Voat shills tend to stick out like sore thumbs. There's usually some combination of the account being relatively new (less than a month old) and getting a very unusual number of upvoats (Spartacus's post had one of the highest upvoat counts of all time for a v/whatever post). That, combined with a community that's constantly on high alert for shills, makes it basically impossible to get away with it on here, at least in terms of people believing your post is legitimate.

Excellent video. It's definitely very easy to overlook the disabled in game development, so awareness of it is definitely a plus.

anyone ever get the vibe that SJWs and closet SJWs have this notion that simply because a brain exists that it's equal to all other brains? submitted by Anson to AskVoat

Not really. From personal observation, it seems to be simply another method of advancement of political ideals on their end. They'll happily parrot any study that concludes that those that do not hold their viewpoints are inferior in terms of IQ, but will come up in arms when studies draw similar conclusions based upon factors that are politically inconvenient for them. Alternatively, if they don't actively deny the conclusions of those studies, they'll most likely lean back on the "IQ is a tool of white supremacy" argument. Basically, IQ is important when it's politically convenient, and irrelevant when it's not.

Someone made a list of fangames that have caused significant financial or trademark damage to owners of original works. Interesting read. submitted by killer7 to gaming

What's absolutely bizarre is that as far as fangames go, Disney has actually been one of the less evil companies.
