This is unimaginably terrible. The South should preserve their cultural landmarks. The General Lee statue is a famous city landmark of historical significance. I simply can't believe this will happen in New Orleans. Surely the people will fight back.

Here in the US there are terrible cults. I think the government should be able to take the kids away from the religious abuse kids suffer there. But, there seems to be no information about specifics with these kids situation. So this might be discrimination.
