TableTop Gamers of VOAT: What is your favorite game to play and why? submitted by Malevolence to AskVoat

Evotras 0 points 15 points (+15|-0) ago

Settlers of Catan. The game can get very engaging as the hours fly by.

Since it sounds like your boyfriend has many tabletop games, I would be surprised if he didn't have it already. Risk would be another game I recommend.

What are some good free to play open world MMOS like World of Warcraft? submitted by SB1001 to gaming

It's not free, but you only pay once: Guild Wars 2. I really enjoy playing it from time to time.

I don't want to spend another $350 on 6 months of gaming. submitted by 834R to pcmasterrace

In my experience, Amalek is extremely bothersome. Yesterday I was scrolling through new posts and his name would come up at least ten times, posting the same clickbait bullshit. Freedom of speech or not, spam is spam.

Now, as to how we could solve this, there are many ways. One, Voat could silence users like Amalek once they get enough downvoats. A less controversial way would be for users to be able to not see what a user posts with an "ignore" or "block" button, that way each user can choose which content, spam or not, they can see in the future. A subverse could be created to create awareness of certain spammers or users who add nothing to discussions and are at best irritable so that other users can "ignore" them and not come across undesired content.

I'm looking forward to what Voat has to say though.
