Mocking a nose piercing and dyed hair constitutes hate speech now? I mean, I understand the quotes are generalizations and not nice but hate speech?
"Let's make hate speech illegal" is a slippery slope for this exact reason, now making fun of fashion statements = hate speech.
Bring Back Eich.

I'm a PC gamer but I liked him, he had good charisma. Very sad, I didn't expect it at all either.

I disagree with the article, I think it's going to specifically lead to more individuals defining themselves as staunchly pro-constitution or maybe libertarian. I don't think it will create a bunch of fascists as really, what they are rebelling against is largely thought crime, or fascism-lite.
I watched a lot of gamergate and there were many individuals identifying as liberal in that movement, most of them didn't sacrifice their liberal views in my exposure to the movement. If their views did change or become a larger focus for them it was usually surrounding issues like free speech, rights, etc. I saw some beginning to address themselves as left-leaning libertarian, etc.
Online harassment is truly unfortunate, regardless of victim. If somebody is doing something really wrong it's a matter for the authorities, not an online mob.

It's a new Microsoft OS, it's annoying because a lot of the issues with 8 were valid. AKA a lack of options, now Microsoft has provided options but scrubs are upset because it doesn't default to precisely how they want it. Never use express install on anything.
I'll concede that Microsoft should maybe put a warning up on the express install, something to the effect of this will share more information with your contacts, friends, etc. But if you're arguing it shouldn't default to the newb friendly options? Dream on, every mainstream OS is doing the same and as power users we ask for the option to avoid that junk.
Some advice: If you're afraid of options menus, you aren't a power user so quit acting as though you are.

Nope, it was an extra feature in 7 too. Just included in the higher priced variants of the OS. Microsoft has charged for features for a significant period of time, they just did it inside of OS versions, i.e. XP vs. XP Pro, or 7 Home vs. 7 Pro. This is literally better because it's more transparent and less confusing than the old model. The ads in solitaire started in Windows 8, it wasn't installed by default back in 8 however. It probably shouldn't have been defaulted in 10 either to be frank.
The DVD player is an absolutely moot point. It hasn't been in the base OS for some time and anybody who uses Media Player over VLC or MPC (which can still be used) is an idiot in the first place. If you are on Windows and playing DVDs with the included software you are computing wrong.

This actually isn't a big deal imo, their businesses don't have a humongous amount of overlap vs. TW/Comcast, they compliment eachother well however.
