CNN: It's over; Trump is the Republican nominee submitted by dv1155 to politics

There is no candidate, running or otherwise, who can fix the problems and system we have right now. No one. Not even the Trumpster.

In some sense, we may be better off with someone like Clinton--hear me out!--because the system will break down faster. Someone like Trump, at best, will only prolong the situation. Having it collapse is the only way we have a chance to build something new. Or at least, someone in a future generation who will have the chance to rise from the ashes of it all.

Clinton doesn't want to admit she is the establishment. Inadvertently concedes Sanders has more experience. submitted by ArchangelleShe to videos

I wouldnt' say he'd make a better president as they'd both prove disastrous.

His incomprehension of issues combined with a demonstrated lack of fortitude in the face of bullies proves as damaging as her corporatism and establishment politics. The only thing he has that she doesn't is a well intentioned heart. Doesn't make him any wiser, and he proves that every time he opens his mouth. He genuinely believes his own miscalculations -- the quintessential bleeding heart.
