Does the NSA know when you walk around the block? Of course they dont but Google does and it keeps records of your walks forever. Not only that, it develops algorithms that examine where you walk. submitted by FinnTheHuman to technology

Good thing that google hasn't been accused of being cozy with government agencies when they request that information.

Germany trades citizens metadata for NSAs top spy software submitted by ChillyHellion to technology

Isn't this kinda treasonous? Selling your citizens data to another country without consent. There may not be laws against it in Germany but from my view the citizens where betrayed.

He is accused of spying for foreign governments. Could this be the reason that the western media wants his release and this is so important? Because he is a spy? There are literally thousands of political prisoners in the middle east. 10 where killed last month in egypt and nobody in the west gave a shit. Now this man who is accused of being a spy, is being paraded about in the media as a "freedom activist" when he is accused of being a SPY. If this man isn't a spy why has the western media not made a big deal about all the other political prisoners? many of which are more influential. [1] [2] [3 [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] People are proclaiming this guy a hero but not even saying what he is being accused of. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, its probably a duck. If he is just a computer programmer why has the syrian government hid his location. No special ops team is gonna rescue some computer activist, they would extract their asset. I am not trying to be a dick or belittle anyone but the hard honest truth is the media doesn't care about people like this, unless there is an agenda. Think back to the Iranian girl who testified in congress. We have soldiers on the ground and are at war, to circumvent checks and balances and public opinion its called other things. But you cannot take anything that comes from the propaganda machine as 100% true without even looking in to it. This person is accused of being a spy. What is more likely the MSM cares about a computer nerd from the middle east, or they are being feed the stories to bolster public opinion and try and save an asset. He could be totally innocent and this will be the first case of MSM ever caring about an average brown skinned person in the middle east. But there is a damn good chance this person is an asset.

Obama addresses the "conspiracy" that "we are creating a plot to take everybody's guns" submitted by ElspethTirel to Conspiracy

In all seriousness we need to have universal background checks, reference checks, and mandatory safety training before someone can purchase a gun. Too many wackos can get their hands on guns way too easy at this point.

Starwars Battlefront 2. I'm going to either buy an XB1 or PS4 for this game. Which one? submitted by Grunge to gaming

Your making outrageous claims with no facts to back it up, and then you come back making more false claims with no facts. There are plenty of pc building sites so provide a link to a pc for 400 dollars or less that will "shit all over the consoles" because all you have done is talk out your ass. One link with a pc build to prove me wrong, or you can just downvote and pretend I am wrong but that doesn't change the reality that you are full of shit. you can't provide one link to a build for under 400 that can "shit all over consoles" because it doesn't exist

No people like you need to stop spreading lies about pharmaceuticals because at least 80% of the people on prescription opiates long term do not need to be. It is a industry that is protected by morons and criminals. Which are you?
