There will be Genocide in Europe submitted by acheron2012 to whatever

If by Europe you mean France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden and the UK then yeah, we do have a problem. But Europe is much bigger than that.

There are very few, if any, minority conflicts or homogenity issues in the rest of Europe. All of the issues discussed on this website simply do not exist in the rest of the continent.

Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Poland, Ukraine, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Switzerland, Spain are in a good position.

Try going to one of the eastern states and start talking about political correctness. The last time a gay parade was tried here it ended badly, for the gays. We simply know what thought control does, as we've been out of the Iron Curtain for not long enough, and people here are vehemently opposed to any sort of information control.

I currently consider former soviet states a whole lot more democratic than any other country on earth. There's corruption, sure, working on it - but at least we can still say nigger and not get ostracized for it, and the women here know they role in society and are happy with it.

In fact, equality was n ever an issue here. We've always looked at women as our equals, and equality came as a natural thing, not a forced political wind, and it works. Men are happy with their roles, women are happy with their roles. Jews are also outsiders and any foreign influence is violently opposed.

There's a problem in the union, not on the continent.

Remove an NPC from its environment, and it wakes up submitted by antiliberalsociety to whatever

Holy shit, reading this just made me have the exact opposite 'epiphany'. I've never NOT thought things through in... language. I assumed this was the default way thinking works?

This makes so much sense now... everything makes so much sense. I've tried explaining the thought process (of how I got to a specific conclusion) to a handful of people across the years and some of them just didn't get it - at all - while some did, even though the explanation was the same for all.

This makes so much sense and I just realise that I actually cannot do the opposite. I think I know what it means... I think. Help me understand: is 'doing without thinking' (i.e instinctual things, eating, sex, laughing because someone else is...) a good example of this 'language-less thinking' the guy has been living though his entire life?

I had no idea some people are by default like that. I just thought that this was a lower-level of thinking that happens in everyone for things that require fewer brain resources, and it's meant to be like that - to save on brainpower or some shit.

Apparently, some people go through their entire life like this? How? How?!

Also - Westworld - the T.V show - no matter what you think of it - I think it actually explains this exact thing. How machines gain sentience and the one thing that makes them... fully human is 'gaining their own voice').

Step 1. Install Linux

Just your friendly reminder that Linux - a non-profit venture, is twice as sexy and fast as any Mac or Windows corporate-made OS. Try giving it a shot. submitted by Cuttwood to technology

You sound like an NPC. Think about what comes out of your head before stating it. Linux will be just fine without Torvalds. Use a distro that doesn't include SJW kernel changes, problem solved. Windows or Mac doesn't give you the option.

What are you using if I may ask?

I'm a long supporter of Voat but there is one thing I do not understand: Why is Voat so against the EU? submitted by Cuttwood to AskVoat

Cuttwood 4 points -3 points (+1|-4) ago

But I understand the EU works a bit more complex than that. We actually do elect our representatives. I agree, the process is not 100% yet, but we do elect who we send to the EU parliament to speak in our name, collectively, by choosing our governments and parties who appoint said people. Am I not correct?

Well yes, but that's the whole point no? That's how I see it: I'm willing to give something up for the collective good. I never had a war in my liftetime but I understand before the EU there were quite a lot of conflicts.

One guy above I think put it differently:

In my experience looking into the EU politics from an outsider perspective (I'm in the US), it seems that what is good for an individual country is ignored in preference of the collective EU.

He puts it as something negative, but that's what I see as being the positive. I may be biased, I'm eastern European.
