Reminds me of Sirus from Heroes... Plot spoiler:

Also the pineal gland is seen as the seat of the soul in occultism, and there's lots of talk about "activating" it through meditation leading to visualisation and eventually full-color imagery in thought. Tesla claimed to think in imagery like this, but I don't recall him ever talking about meditation or the pineal gland.

A 1920 book called God-man: Word Made Flesh that basically tries to interpret the Bible and other holy books as ancient alchemical guides to the operations of the body - coded and hidden to avoid persecution and preserve knowledge hierarchy.

It describes the pineal gland as follows (PDF page 19):

The Pineal is cone shaped, and secretes a yellow or golden fluid. The Pituitary Body, opposite it, is ellipsoid in shape, and contains a whitish secretion, like milk.

The fluids that are found in both these bodies comes from the same source, namely, the Claustrum, which means "barrier" or "cloister," and is referred to as cloister for the very good reason that a precious and holy thing is secreted or secluded there. Saint Claus, or Santa Claus, is another term for this precious fluid, which is indeed a holy gift in the body of each one of us.

It goes on to make connections between the Pineal/Pituitary glands and Male/Female, Joseph/Mary, the Honey/Milk from the Bible. It's an interesting read, but notably, the Pineal gland is the first organ the book addresses.

helicopter parent

I googled this 'cause I thought it was an auto-correct, but no, it is what it sounds like. TIL a new term for overparenting.

If you hadn't nitpicked on his offhand remark (that didn't necissarily have to make sense, nor be in the original context), there wouldn't be this entire thread worth of bullshit from either of you. Try and stay focused.

Nah, I'm fine with them fighting themselves for eternity. As long as they keep it outside.

Having worked for the company gives her a shred of credibility that few others (are allowed to) have.

Besides, some airtime of a dolt is better than none.
