Bogarting your comment here to mention @she is a moderator of /v/askvoat and people should watch for her bull shit.

Survey asks 500 British Muslims: "Are homosexuals morally acceptable in any way?" None of the 500 said yes. submitted by SuperConductiveRabbi to news

Sometimes I think the internet forgets there are a ton of people that still don't like homosexuality. You just never hear about it online because almost every site/game/media forum bans you for saying anything of the sort.

I think they deserve equal rights and equal treatment in the eyes of the law, just like everyone else. But it's fucking gross. Literally repulsive. It resounds all the way to the core that that's not ok. Sets off every fight or flight buzzer in my body. But it's none of my business. And I don't want people to make it my business.

There's Nothing Wrong with Cash. Stop Trying to Ban It. The Case against Cash Prohibition. submitted by FreeSpeachRocks to news

Color me paranoid, but I don't like the idea of a cashless society. Literally everything you do could be monitored by the government. Tax time comes around and we're going to start having to have talks with an auditor about why we bought so much beer or watched so many movies instead of living like a good drone or whatever.

No thanks.

Why does doxxing bother people? I've never heard of real violence happening from it and I've only heard of a couple real instances of swatting.

Ontario conservative candidate supports therapies to turn gay youth straight. submitted by Schrodingers_Spy to news

Chingasa 7 points -5 points (+2|-7) ago

Why would that be a bad thing? Wouldn't a similar technique be needed to "cure" pedophiles? I can't think of a single sexual related mental illness therapy has fixed yet. Sent the gays to therapy and they just said it was normal. Sent the trans to therapy and they decided humoring it is easier than fixing it. What is the point in any of this crap if it doesn't fix anything?

Edit: I like the response to this is a bunch of downvoats and one "snappy" comeback. Seriously. If you can't create a normal sexual desire in one type of person, how do you do it in another? Because I don't follow this "desire to fuck anything is all part of some normal sexual spectrum" where pedophiles will never be cured because we're afraid it will hurt gay peoples feelings.

No I get the desire for anonymity. But if someone did doxx me, I'd probably just create a new username? I don't have much of an online presence and my real life couldn't really be effected by online rage.
