From most of the posts in that thread it seems like you weren't exactly being friendly to that sub either. Not that I condone what happened, but you are only giving one side of the story (which is to be expected, but still).

Edit: downvoted in 3 minutes, for wanting to know the both sides of the story. Really? It wasn't by /u/D-M-Remic, so why?

Edit 2: well at least it turned around :)

The FBI asked the US State Department to stop investigating Hillary Clinton's emails submitted by Scine to news

Caerlocc 0 points 45 points (+45|-0) ago

I'm glad I read the article because I misunderstood the title. The FBI is still continuing its own investigation, and told the State Dept to put their own internal review on hold until the FBI is finished, which makes sense and is apparently standard procedure (law enforcement investigation takes priority).

Hopefully this means nothing fishy happens, but I don't have my hopes up regarding this investigation anyways >_>

Reddit deletes surveillance 'warrant canary' in transparency report submitted by Dr_No to technology

Caerlocc 0 points 26 points (+26|-0) ago

.... What. The whole point of a warrant canary is that you delete it when served with a warrant tied to a gag order. This is functioning as intended and is 100% not a "cuck" move.

The article is how Microsoft is against the US government getting access to data that is stored overseas.

TL;DR

Apparently you really didn't read

Sorry, but many people on voat seem to be just looking for a reason to justify their hate of other groups. "Reasonable conclusions? What're those?"

No irony there. /s submitted by DietCokehead1 to funny
