How to end up alone in a few easy steps. Such a stupid STUPID mindset. Foolish girl. submitted by Empress to TraditionalWives

That's the most ridiculous shit ever. I married my husband as soon as I could. I probably wouldn't have if I hadn't been pregnant, but in retrospect, my pregnancy probably helped save my life!!! My husband is easily the best human being I've ever met.

A thrifty wife is a better blessing than a second income. submitted by Empress to TraditionalWives

I'd rather my kids eat rice and beans with their family than miss their parents because they're working full time. Sometimes people genuinely can't make one income work but if it's possible, it's worth it. The days are long but the years are short. Kids grow with the blink of an eye.

Strive to be your best- she wants to be just like you. submitted by Empress to TraditionalWives

Aw. So cute. I'm a boy mom, to some degree my sons strive to be like me as well as their father. We have a world that is less and less traditional, I'd like to think that even if my sons marry a non traditional wife, they can compensate and balance the relationship with what I've taught them.

I'll take traditional, thank you. submitted by Empress to TraditionalWives

I don't really see how being fat makes you less traditional. Some people are naturally larger, not like genuinely morbidly obese, but larger. My husband and I are not "ideal BMI" but we are active and don't eat processed foods. I don't really see how having a "perfect body" changes what matters. Morals, values and work ethic are really what count and you can't see that in some cases.

Considering we bring in more than twelve times the average American income I can guarantee that you are simply a close minded shithead. Successful does not mean skinny. Some people are lazy and naturally skinny, some people are naturally heavy and extremely successful. Your pants size might determine YOUR WORTH but to other folks, values and respect matter more.

Sometimes people can be genuinely amazing even if you don't like how they look. It's pretty shallow to assume anyone's worth solely on how they look. I guess I'm just not as Hitler-esque as other traditional folks. Burn everyone who doesn't agree with me is about as liberal as it gets. How is a "traditional" variation better in any way?
