Could we have a reminder for new users: Upvoat for good content (not agreement), and Downvoat for spam (not disagreement)? submitted by InMediaRes to ideasforvoat

This is why I say we need an etiquette guide. 'Cause the sidebar clearly states the score is based on likes/dislikes: "5 likes, 0 dislikes (100% like it)"

Until I came to Voat, I've never seen the FPH and SJW acronyms. On Voat, they are every where. What's up with the FPH and SJW fixation?

EDIT: What's the matter Voat? Am I not PC enough for you?

Doesn't anyone feel like this whole coup d'état is a little serendipitous with the timing of TPP opposition? This whole thing feels a little strange. submitted by Bloomordoom to AskVoat

Reading comments about Pao, it does feel to me like she's being bullied because of her gender.

EDIT: Hey! I'm being downvoted because I'm not being politically correct! Politically correct on Voat means hating Pao, hating Reddit, hating fat people, and loving creepshots.

Ellen Pao and the Reddit conundrum submitted by ae to news

So I'm not really up on the shitstorm, but this article, if accurate, provided some background. I've wondered at all the anti-Reddit vitriol. I've wondered why so many people on Voat like FPH. My impression now is that this is because Pao is a woman and this is not entirely different than GamerGate.

EDIT: Sorry Voat, for not being politically correct.
