Google Glass is Alive submitted by sum_yungai to technology

Cool idea to create one for a workforce instead of for personal use. The only problem I see is convincing companies to shell out money for these for their workers. Most companies won't buy new technology when what they have now works. Unless a couple major companies do a trial with them, and they use it as a study to come up with some hard facts about the efficiency increase and time/money saved, then most companies won't buy into it.

just my $0.02... I want these to succeed, but don't see it happening anytime soon.

PornHub built a $1,000 twerking, robot butt submitted by AnonymousCrowdMember to technology

I accidentally clicked on the comments for the IBM 7nm chip post instead of this and got really confused when people were talking about electron jumps and using graphene over silicone.. I thought for a second that everyone was taking this twerking posterior robot super seriously...

Question Around Trophies submitted by cillroy to eso

BringingTelos 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

So, from what I've read trophies need to be used to count towards your achievement. When used, collectibles should disappear while trophies themselves (the ones that do a custom emote) will stay. It's up to you what to do with them after you've used them, most people sell them or discard them for space.

I was confused about this as well, as I had several "Whirring Dynamo" in my inventory and was not sure what to do. After using one, the others became unusable so I sold the rest.

Here's where I went to find out more about trophies.

Is a Vita Worth It? submitted by metroideye to vita

BringingTelos 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

I don't play my vita as often as my consoles, but it's great for when I'm away from home. There's quite a few good exclusive titles, even if no big AAA's are coming any time soon I'd say it's still worth buying a vita or even a vita TV for the games that are already out. Other than that it's mostly indies, ps1/psp titles, and ps4 remote play that keeps my vita alive.

Hey why don't we start a guild and play together, to grow the community submitted by ah to ElderscrollsOnline

if it was on [XB1] -> [NA] -> [DC] I'd be in!
Sucks that we'll probably be split up by region/alliance...

Hello? Is this thing on? submitted by XboxLivesMajorNelson to xboxone

Welcome to Voat Major! I just signed up myself. Glad to see that you're also exploring other options. For additional alternatives, there is actually a subreddit for that... /r/RedditAlternatives. Personally, I've also tried out aether (neat app alternative, but requires some tweaking to get comfortable), stumbleupon (not really my thing since it takes you straight to each post instead of linking), and stacksity (cool concept, but also not really my thing). So far Voat is my favourite, as well as the easiest to adapt to.
