I don't think popularity contests should decide these sorts of matters. I am aware of the situation, and given the information I have available I would say that this person is not a proper fit, but I am refraining from voting on your post because this is not how things should be decided.

Remember: Brigading takes advantage of situations like this, and brigading is generally not a good thing.

It's a little bit crazy that it was even a question in the first place. Steam is already an ad platform - for games. I guess it's a sign of the times when we wonder if we're going to have to watch an ad before getting to our chosen ads.

Why is he trying to distract from the real issue?

We, the American public have been told time and time again that the government's spy-on-everybody strategy is in place to protect us from terrorist attacks.

This can't be a terrorist attack. If it were, that would mean that the government has been lying to us about the purpose of the NSA programs or that the programs that we pay billions of dollars (via tax) for are useless.

See? Easy.

That's funny... I have yet to receive my cheque from the bank with this redistributed money you speak of.

The problem here though is that there is literally no other information involved, and Voat as a whole seems to be starting to go on a crazy witch-hunt for SRS and SJW folks - A witch-hunt that is beginning to mirror the actions of the SJW/SRS folks on reddit that everyone seems to be against, and rightfully so.

We don't have to stoop to that level, and this post is a glaring example of that - There is no substance it and it serves no purpose but to light torches.
