We have been in a economic depression for a few years now. It is about to start getting very severe as the underfunded pensions, and various asset bubbles, are all circling in such a way that a black swan event becomes increasingly likely to emerge and create full on collapse.
And the rich, not understanding they were not clever, just over achieving parasites, will stand around flabbergasted as billions of capital wealth go up in smoke as rule of law breaks down in the West. And whatever is left is confiscated by the state, for the greater 'good', which it will in turn further run into the ground leading to a lot of human catastrophe and suffering. About the only good I could see coming out of it is perhaps people would finally recognize that the oligarchs, banksters, and politicians have always been the only real enemy they have had, and displace them from power. Of course the cycle will just start over again, collapse, revolution, apathy, in their endless game of musical chairs.

There is a pretty fit paraplegic dude at work, who takes pride in his development of the strength and endurance to go up and down multiple flights of stairs. When asked why he made so much effort to be able to, he points out how he doesn't want to die in a fire, or be the reason someone else does. It was fucking glorious yet depressing the one time I was with him going up three flights of stairs with this ham. Here this guy is pulling his body weight, and a metal framed wheelchair, up each step by hand over hand pulling on the handrail over his shoulder. And the ham is falling behind, getting winded, and tells the guy and me to go on ahead. You could just see the look on the guy's face as he looked at his useless legs and chair, and the fucking ham near doubled over for air. It was like a kid in a concentration camp having to watch a kid outside the fence cry about how their chocolate chip cookie is too big to dunk in the glass of milk.

Yes, which means I end up watching new shows for about ten minutes before I need to try and find something else.
And it isn't even like I have issues with diversity. I just hate being preached to by a bunch of people who don't even know what real diversity is, and are breaking their own arms in trying to pat themselves on the back with how much they want people to know they care about it and how shitty everyone else is that doesn't fall in lockstep with their imagined reality.
Races don't harmonize where they are forced together, they synergize sure, but it is sure as fuck no racial and social utopia where people end up holding hands, become tolerant, and suddenly realize we are all 'just human'... because that is bullshit. We are more by our complex social structures than simply human beings, we are cultures, ethnicities, traditions, dogmas, and products of our past. Anyone who has spent anytime living in an actually diversified place knows this. So when the idealistic and naive social utopia crap is done in the name of diversity, all I see is an attempt at social engineering to make getting a farther reaching control mechanism possible for the elites through their media.

They do not, that was just talking point sophistry the DNC/media spin doctors developed for their people to engage in polemics with rather than looking into the facts.
It is on the level of in 2012 when Romney made an off the cuff remark about cutting funding for Big Bird, and a segment of the Democrat base legitimately made saving Big Bird a campaign issue. This despite the Children's Television Workshop making a press statement on how PBS doesn't give them a dime, and that Sesame Street is well funded by its merchandise licensing.
