Judge faults university for requiring student to prove he was innocent of sexual misconduct submitted by Imapopulistnow to news

I've had the classic "drunken regret sex" and I've also been a victim of sexual abuse. I'm also in my 30s so this all happened in a different time. But I feel and understand that these two were different things. One was a regretful decision, the other I was a victim of a crime. Also, please note that I'm not conflating drunken regret sex with someone who has drunk to the point of passing out.

This may not be a popular opinion but I have to wonder, are people feeling more victimized now due to these sort of drunk hookups because we previously repressed those feelings or because society is putting more pressure on people by telling them they are victims?

He is earning income from these concerts. If he has an active warrant for his arrest in those areas I don't think they have to allow him to work in those areas either.

I don't know much about this person or how famous he is. But there is often a lot of the tax payers money spent when even mid-sized concerts come into town. For the most part this is seen as a positive since the extra income also benefits the city/state. From what I understand, the venue was which appears to be owned by the city of Hammond. I think that if you have an outstanding warrant, the city/state is under no obligation to allow you to use its venues to make money.

EDIT: Adding link to story which includes the location.
