Well yeah, gives me an excuse to leave work once a year for an hour.

Voat seems to have a lot more activity and variety this month. Did anything specific happen to cause this? submitted by ChillyHellion to AskVoat

What finally forced me to create a profile and start contributing was the snowflakes losing their minds over a picture of a child holding the American Flag. No one cares if their white, I sure didn't. https://www.theblaze.com/news/2017/08/26/katie-pavlich-aclu-response-to-liberal-outrage-over-white-baby-abhorrent-and-disgusting/

California Bill (((SB239))) to Allow Blood Donations from People with HIV, which is Sent Everywhere in US submitted by Kekfashy to news

AngryWhiteMan 1 points 2 points (+3|-1) ago

This is actually an incredibly misleading headline and is factually false. https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billNavClient.xhtml?bill_id=201720180SB239

THE BLOOD IS STILL TESTED AND HELD BACK IF IT CONTAINS HIV. All they are doing is appeasing the snowflakes that really want to get poked with a needle and not go to prison for it. In addition, dozens of government jobs will be created in order to fill the new need of testing donated blood for HIV.

While I disagree with the law as a whole, I don't think there is a reason to worry here.

I really don't consider those terms of endearment. But I am really curious why you think they are. Maybe you can change my mind? I am legitimately curious, I am here for logical discussion, not name calling.

My initial impression when hearing those words is that it is an attempt to aggravate or sway the user from continuing to contribute to the site.

And yes, that is indeed what I meant. My apologies for the typo. And I would agree, that this one typo makes it all the much harder for you to believe the validity of my account. This will take time to repair though, and I have plenty of that.

I love the down votes rather than intelligently discussing the topic and changing my mind. Keep it up, you are only strengthening my resolve.

Don't really care about that. It's time for people to hear what's been locked in my head for the past few decades.
