I'm surprised this subverse has been so quiet, usually YouTubers are VERY quick to put their content in a place that people can see it.

I agree that this subverse shouldn't turn into a spam-fest, but I do appreciate you're not shying away from some self promotion. I'll do my best to make...

We agree that this subverse shouldn't turn into a spam-fest, so for now we'd just like to share our channel. If we share things on here in the future, we hope to encourage discussion about the videos. We are always open to feedback and requests as well, so definitely share your thoughts with us!

I love it. We'll start with that idea - I'll whip up something for flair, and the last week of this month I'll get the theme voting started.

Zone of the Enders - Multiplayer Game Mechanics submitted by Affinity_Archives to GameDesign

The competitive multiplayer in Zone of the Enders is particularly interesting due to the camera mechanics. While I feel there's something to be said about the game controls and the mecha functionality, I think the camera was well designed, even if it's weird.

Are there any other games out there that utilize a camera in similar ways? I feel the camera would be rather difficult to design around.

Edit: We've published an article about this. Check it out and let us know what you think! http://affinityarchives.com/articles/GameDesign/2015/06/MultiplayerCamerasInZoneOfEnders.html

What would people like to see in this series? We're not sure how long it'll be, but we are planning on playing it all the way through.
