Atko mentioned that an integrated media hosting system was in the works, so this should be resolved soon.
As for slimgur, I wouldn't go for it. Slimgur was more specifically created as a place to host images from /r/fatpeoplehate when imgur admins were removing them. There's a lot of people on voat (myself included) that would rather dissociate themselves from the reddit drama.

Here's a better source: http://www.cnn.com/2013/10/16/health/hand-sanitizer-toxic-upwave/
The gadgtecs article's title doesn't make this distinction, but the things it's telling you to avoid are products containing Triclosan, not specifically alcohol-based hand sanitizers.
Alcohol-based sanitizers, on the other hand, are fairly effective and safe. "Hand sanitizers that are 60% alcohol are good at killing bacterial pathogens," says Bowen. (Quote taken from the CNN article)
The verdict isn't out on triclosan's harmfulness yet (it's under review by the FDA), but it's not good for you and its also ubiquitous:
Triclosan... has expanded commercially and is now prevalent in soaps, shampoos, deodorants, toothpastes, mouth washes and cleaning supplies. It is part of consumer products, including kitchen utensils, toys, bedding, socks and trash bags. In healthcare, triclosan is used in surgical scrubs and hand washes. (Quote taken from the Wiki page)
EDIT: it deleted half my comment so I re-added it.

Admittedly, I don't know your intentions for making this post.
Are you trying to say this mod is racist and actually thinks "white genocide is great", or are you trying to say this mod is unfunny and offensive with his/her attempt at a joke?

Europe has to accept immigrants for legal reasons, such as the Freedom of Movement. Europeans, on the other hand, don't have to accept anything. They could be dicks if they want to by ostracizing immigrants.
I strongly encourage all Europeans to stand up and protect their unique cultures and peoples from being overrun and diluted.
Cultures change over time with or without immigration. People who truly want to preserve a culture attend Renaissance Fairs.

Looking at the full context, there was really no reason why they said that. It seems more likely that it was a random joke in response to what they consider to be a troll rather than his/her actual views like the title of this post suggests.
