Great post. I joined recently and have been looking for compilations like this for great content.

And hurrah! foopix is a way better naming convention. Not just more SFW but more sensical. EarthPorn, for example, implies that those who like pictures of great geographic features are somehow odd or delinquent, and should even be shamed for being like that.

Of course we all like that kind of stuff. EarthPix :)

Wish there was a way around the Houston Chronicle log-in prompt to read the story.

Is there another source?

Orange you glad you saw this post by /u/kun ?

I don't think it's a stretch to say that this squirrel was just a bit abashed when after some tugging, he got a'splashed.

Note that imgur is not a requirement; it's just a fast and popular service.

Use whichever you prefer but please try to use a host that limits their ads, especially pop-up and sound ads.

Interesting plug in the article about the ideomotor phenomenon which helped this scam's success (and also things like dowsing rods, Ouija boards, etc.) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ideomotor_phenomenon)
