I didn't leave Reddit, it's still a great place. Of course it's starting to buckle under its own weight like any large website, but since I stay out of the majority of the huge subs I don't mind.

I would not leave this place because it's got the nice, small, exciting atmosphere that I miss...

Maybe if the negative karma had to come from multiple sources it would reduce the potential for abuse -- If a pattern had to be detected rather than just a single threshold.

They have already started putting a bunch of ads and links between the article and the comment section, pushing it lower and lower.
