We have to admit that traditional cultures in Africa and the Middle East have simply failed.

Fucking this.

Many voat users left Reddit because of far left politics. How do you feel about voat's politics? submitted by pedigo to AskVoat

It's a study in a different type of extreme.

researchers in the US developed a computer model to simulate what happens when scientists compete for academic prestige and jobs.

It's not just science, it's the academic world at large that's collapsing atop the rotten foundations of capitalist society's infrastructure and value system. Competition is the key word here – when you have to compete just to get funding to get anything done, you start worrying more about the competition than about the activity itself. This is what capitalism ultimately seems to lead towards in any industry or field after long enough – it becomes about the money first and foremost.

Watch out you'll get downvoted for trying to talk like that in this thread because apparently the majority of people think the law is meant to micromanage motherfuckers rather than uphold motherfucking justice

Let me get this straight, the fact that I have a problem with stupid generalizations like 'this is what happens when women don't have children and keep having periods. they all go loopy' makes me a triggered feminist? Just because I think men and women should get to decide whether they want to go the 'marriage and babies route' or take another direction in life depending on their personality and circumstances? It's not like I'm taking a shit over the women who decide to be subservient home-makers, more power and respect to them if that's the direction they want to go in life, I just don't want it to be mine. And it's also not like I'm trying to say that men and women are equal, that's obviously not the case at even the most basic biological and physiological levels, and it's stupid to insist otherwise. How is that triggered feminism?
