I understand that its necessary in cases of harassment to grok exactly what has been said, but according to her comment it's as easy as sending a link. I would assume the barrier of entry to read PM's on voat is much higher (like running a query on the database).

I have no expectation of absolute anonymity, but the entire thing was approached too casually. They can copy/paste private messages like cat videos.

It's been shown pretty boldly that a significant portion of the Reddit team lacks that last thing.
