Id say its a DIY video. Thank you so much for your nice comments, I strive to make video's for beginners (because i consider myself somewhat of a beginner) to show anyone can make things themselves. As for your question... Im 100% self taught, iv never even met another woodworker in person before, I spent alot of time watching how to videos online and then spent countless hours teaching myself by trail and error. Best advise i can give to anyone taking this road is to learn each tool as you buy them (and buy used) and to work with pallets and other scrap woods. Also.. go slow and RESPECT your tools.. a table saw can be very unforgiving if not respected! Have fun and be safe!

the jig is for peices of wood that are not straight... you need a straight edge to start with, the jig will give you that
