Trump: Fix 'Massive Problem' of Mentally Ill, Let Gun Owners Be submitted by OhBlindOne to news

Not surprising, though his hate towards Edward Snowden and his immigration policy are the two things that bother me, he does have plenty of good ideas.

Why I Will Never Use Redbox Again submitted by insomniabob to gaming

Just use the public library's website to get games and movies. It's free and they actually check to make sure people don't steal.

Even if your library doesn't have video games or BluRays themselves, if you go to the library website (ex. for MA) and search under all network libraries, you're sure to find something. You may have to wait longer, but you get an email when it's ready and you can get just about any game for console you like, free. Even PC can't beat that.

PS. New games will take a lot longer than old games. If you can enjoy some older games (AKA, the previous Assasin's Creed, not the newest one) then you won't have to wait as long. Also, feel free to donate old games you may have, libraries really appreciate it.

Jesus Christ, please get rid of the "Your password is not secure. You must use at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number and one special character such as ?, ! or ." requirement submitted by StacyThundercunt to ideasforvoat

This is indeed stupid. Whenever people need a password that requires a capital letter, it's always the first letter, whenever it requires special characters, they just use a # at the end, whenever it requires a certain number of characters, they probably just double up the last numbers, all it does is make people have to remember what the password requirements for a certain site are before typing their standard password, and at worst, it causes people to press the forgot password button more times. A dictionary cracking tool that knows the requirements will still be just as well off.

Why is the US government so eager to take in foreign refugees when we can't even provide our own homeless citizens a place to sleep? submitted by organicgangbang to whatever

phly95 10 points -8 points (+2|-10) ago

Actually, the homeless are supposed to provide themselves a place to sleep with a job. As long as these refugees get a job I don't see why they can't provide themselves with a job. Also, it helps clear the terrorist controlled areas of civilians making it easier to attack them. The US has strong security measures so I doubt that a terrorist will make it through.

Trump unveils his proposed immigration policy submitted by watitdew to news

phly95 4 points -3 points (+1|-4) ago

I like many of Trump's ideas, but his immigration reform is just plain terrible. What we need is to put criminals (not all illegals, just ones who have committed serious crime) in American prisons instead of deporting them and blocking them off for them to try to enter again after paying off prison guards. The US doesn't need stricter immigration laws and an expensive wall (which apparently Mexican tax payers would have to pay for), it would be best to make it easy for immigrants to enter easily. Immigrants are people, time good, some bad. We shouldn't bar the good ones because we hate the bad ones.

I really hope Trump is only saying this for attention...

I upvoated OPs post only because it is relevant, but I strongly disagree with it. Nationalism is a disease and needs to die.

EDIT: Downvoat brigade? Looks like people don't like being disagreed with. I wasn't even racist (exact opposite to be exact)
