Did everyone forget that this sub was taken over by SRS and all the mods are now SRS people?

Not a fan of Donald Trump's policies. But happy that someone is finally breaking the bullshit political system. submitted by ffkhrocks to politics

At the very least he's entertaining. Watching Fox News has become a hilarious indulgence for me as they try to crucify him on every program to make him go away.

As a conservative I hope he'll destroy the Republican party. It needs to die, and he's showing us why. He's basically become the "none of the above" candidate.

Something like "thoughtless", "sloppy", or "short-sighted" would at least give a pointed critique of it.

Obama is on 60 minutes defending his recent foreign policy in Syria while criticizing Putin.

I found his policy to be sloppy and likely ineffective, so I wish that Steve Kroft would challenge him more on the weaknesses of his plan.

It's not hard to be civil.

One thing I remember from reading up on the topic is that even though his economic stimulus boosted the GDP numbers it was only a technicality and conditions for average Americans during the depression remained awful for far longer than they would have had the market been allowed to bounce back on its own.

Sorry, I didn't mean to get so snippy. I'll admit that I'm fascinated with Trump's campaign but I'm not entirely sold yet, and I don't think we'll know if the tax plan is realistic until he releases his cuts plan, although the one-time 10% rate to bring foreign accounts back is pretty intriguing.

I guess I just think every person in the race is narcissistic and power-hungry, and many are thin skinned. We are never happy with our presidents when they come out of office and I guess part of me wants to see if the not career-politician can do a good job.
