I wonder if this has been studied anywhere, the optimum range of users for quality discussion on a public forum.

Too few and you can't get much going across too many topics, too many and you probably tend to get bad behavior and factionalization..

Not sure what the owners view on ads is, but if the community OK'ed a list of ethical companies, allowed them to advertize on AMA, and split ad revenue 1/3 each between Victoria, Voat, and some charity (also OK'ed by the community), it seems like it would be a win-win-win.

It would certainly bring people to this site (there are a ton that would come from one site in particular), and if Victoria was indeed fired for not selling out there wouldn't be much chance of manipulation. Maybe get the AMA participants to agree to answer the top 10 questions just to make sure.

The whole idea of not allowing immigrants to work in a country seems silly to me.

Seems to me that a whole bunch of problems regarding immigrants or visitors to a country could be pretty simply solved by requiring liability and medical insurance and having them pay their way for any services they use.

This would tend to keep criminals out (insurance would be too high, and restitution would get paid anyways if there was an incident), while allowing businesses and workers to create wealth and prosperity that would benefit society at large.

Seems to me that the political left should love this idea, as the most in need (desperate immigrants) could make a living and send money back to those in dire need (their families). Diversity would increase. If they didn't have the money for insurance up-front they could be sponsored by a range of groups (business, left-leaning, right-leaning, etc.) and be paid back as they built their life.

At the same time, 500 tunnels were recently reportedly found on the Egypt/Palestine boarder, suggesting that any concrete that might have gone to homes was instead going to tunnels.

I'm not a big fan of Israel in terms of its relations with Palestine, but it seems to me that Hamas might be even...

OK, a couple of questions for you:

Mights some of those needed supplies have been concrete, seeing that numerous houses were destroyed?

Might some of the concrete used for those 500+ tunnels (a massive user of concrete I assume, and those are just the ones that were discovered) been better...
