You start acting offended over any little thing. Do it respectfully. Say your feelings were "hurt". Demand an public apology and cite the code of conduct. Do it so that it gets so annoying and bogs down development. I would recommend an established alt for doing this.
The point? Show them why a doormat mentality is not the right way to interact with other people. However, it must be done politely and respectfully. Otherwise, they might pick up the actual intent and ban you.
Feelings get trampled when personal work is in the spotlight. Of course you must act professionally and just deal with the possibility that your work might be received with less enthusiasm than you expected or even mockery. It happens. To get butthurt over it tells people you are unable to take criticism well. I wouldn't want to work with those people.
Nor would I want to work with people who apologize for every faux pas. With those people I feel like I never a get straight answer.

I don't understand why people feel like they have to exaggerate. His plans are to tax the ridiculously wealthy, close loop holes, and stop corps from stashing their money offshore to avoid taxes. The only additional taxes a person making under 250k would pay is $72 for 3 months of guaranteed family leave, and a 6% payroll tax for Medicare for all which would replace your medical premiums and copays.
6% != 35%
Since sources are nice

Except that we shouldn't be relying on our nationality to justify our employment. If your job is so simple that some foreigner with a cursory grasp of the English language can replace you then maybe it's your hint that you need to improve your skill sets.
Either way being a tech worker is still a great job. There are not enough people with the right skills...hell any skills. To make matters worse people just want high paying jobs to do mindless tasks, or they refuse to get with the program. I had one guy send in a resume plastered with Cobol achievements. I think he was working as a delivery guy at the time.
The key is to keep improving. If you do stall then get back up and do something...anything.

I was borderline leftist back in college, but as time went on I realized that not everyone is the same. At this point I feel like there are is a significant number of people who are selfish and will try really hard to do the least to get the most. Also it didn't help that the left has a tendency to treats people who don't subscribe to their ideologies like shit.
That said a believe that everyone should get very basic things equally, but then they need to prove that they deserve the rest, like tuition-free higher education or welfare. I don't want to subsidize a kid's partying habit.
So I thought I would have to vote Trump, because Hillary was so corrupt. But when I looked into Trump I found that his platform didn't mesh at all with my perspectives. It also doesn't help that he and his base like to generalize a particular demographic as evil because a portion of it is doing bad things. That's when I realized I only liked him because he had the balls to say "fuck you" to the regressive left. Even Milo is hard to stomach as he won't differentiate extremists Muslims and moderates. To me that not only comes off as bigoted but extremely ignorant. It also reminded me why I hated the left, they want to bully/subjugate anyone who doesn't share the same values.
That said, I am looking at Gary Johnson in hopes he isn't a total asshole.
