why are CoCs always pushed by non-programmers who don't understand the culture?
nobody who writes code prolifically gives a shit
all I care about is the code. you don't even have to be human, as long as the code is objectively good there should be no barrier to contribution
i.e. "show me the code"

austin has the fastest growing tech scene in the nation, the lack of ridesharing will kill that.
traveled there for work and lyft/uber was the easiest, safest, fastest way to get around. good luck hailing a cab, you'll have to call for one. the city only has 750 of them by law, walked around on a saturday night and didn't see a single one.
edit: also fingerprinting? I worked for a public school and didn't get fingerprinted. this is just the government angry that they weren't getting as many kickbacks from yellow cab.
