What if Trump Verified Q in front of everyone at the huge Rally tonight? submitted by TinyFairyFarts to GreatAwakening

Trump is a master of spectacle and publicity. Rest assured that Trump has forgotten more about public relations that you or I will ever learn. However, don't be disappointed if Trump remains silent about Q until after the elections.

CD Projekt Red Employees Doxed & Harassed by Game Journalist Mob, RtardEra behind attack, CDPR employees families threatened submitted by Hypercyberpastelgoth to gaming

Wait a minute. CD Project Red is based in Poland. Poland is one of the most right-wing countries in existence. Doxxing a Pole as anti-trans is like doxxing a suburbanite for mowing his lawn regularly.

If you live in a leftwing country, being doxxed as anti-trans might be a severe problem. In Poland, I imagine it means you get invited to take the police academy entrance exam.

How often do you play games that are 3-10 years old that you haven't played before? submitted by killer7 to gaming

cjtendon 0 points 8 points (+8|-0) ago

I often don't notice games when they first come out; I have to hear about a game's charms for a while before I spend any time on it. I didn't start Witcher 3 until it had been out for years and I still have not finished it.

Sonic The Hedgehog Twitter Roasts Pitiful Game Journalists For Cheating In Sekiro submitted by MOF to gaming

A lot of people make the implicit assumption that if a game is hard, then that game must be good in every way - well designed, well programmed, thoroughly tested, etc. In fact, many hard games are crap. Desert Bus is hard. It's a crap game nonetheless.

I understand that some people can't have fun unless they feel properly challenged. I understand that most of these people despise both unskilled gamers and cheaters.

If cheating at games is dishonorable, then game designers are godlike bestowers of honor, and gamers are measly worms who must dance for their amusement. That notion of honor seems very stupid to me.

I used to be staunchly anti-cheat. Then I noticed a game that was buggy as hell and would not allow the story to advance, even with perfect play. Out of curiosity, I used cheats to advance to the next level, and the game promptly chastised me for cheating. It was a one-way flow of criticism. I had no way to insult the game programmers for selling me a buggy game. (Also, I had to wonder why the programmers designed the game to include cheats. Possibly the company's testing staff NEEDED the cheats to rush the game out on schedule.)

So yeah, game programmers, you can expect me to "git gud" and never cheat only if you can guarantee that your game does not have any bugs. However, even if you write a game that can be beaten fairly, and even if I "git gud" and beat your game, that does not prove that your game was worthwhile. Probably your game was a stinking pile of crap and I made a bad decision when I decided to waste a few hours of my life on it.

Incidentally, even if most cheaters are proving themselves to be unskilled, there is one type of cheater who has a relevant skill, and that is the type of hacker who can reverse engineer a game to devise a trainer. Guys who can write trainers are skilled programmers, even if they are totally unskilled at gaming.

So you think it's a good idea to go through an alchemy minigame to enable a limited use of a basic interface function? How long did it take you to finish the game?
