Reporter to State Department: 'I Find it Entertaining That You're Unable To Give A Straight Answer' submitted by wasserwoo to videos

The reporter here is Matt Lee from the AP. I've never seen this video until today but from the title I instantly knew it would be him.

This guy sits in every State Dept. press conference and calls out their bullshit time and time again. He is an unsung hero who has a thankless task.

What's 'mansplaining', Senator?

The 'senator' was as nice touch.

They did this in Manchester too.

Somewhat more troubling when it represents an actual machine... (it's for Transport for Greater Manchester)

What is your favorite video editor for Linux? submitted by thesuperpapagai to Linux

It is going from strength to strength, and has become a brilliant piece of software.

Can somebody recommend me a good non-ubuntu distro? submitted by Optick to Linux

benoliver999 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

I use Arch all the time now but Debian is my go-to on servers and when I need a stable install. It's so, so dull but it just works.

I'm not too keen on how old some of the packages are though, I've found myself having to manually compile a few things because of broken compatibility with other systems.

  1. I had never heard of it ;)
  2. I sometimes need stuff that is not fully free

I really appreciate the recommendation, so thank you. I do want to check it out, it looks like a great project. I presume you can just put the Arch repos in there (but that perhaps defeats the object...)

I also want to give Trisquel and Blag a try if I get a chance, but time is a cruel thing...
