I'm more fearful of my own government utilizing these terms to justify its actions. These are scapegoats. They are the new "communists"... nothing more than faceless entities capable of invoking fear into the uneducated masses.
The majority of the members of Voat are not the prime demographic targeted by these sensationalist reports on ISIS and Terror in the middle east. Those that tune into mainstream media and assume that the manipulated narrative being spewed is reality are the ones that are affected by this propaganda... they are also the ones that vote in hoards come election season.

No surprise there, given the rise of high fructose corn syrup over sugar, increased portions size, an ever expanding lower class, a dependence on fast food/processed foods over whole foods, etc.
Obesity is the plague of the 21st century, at least for 1st world countries... it is the foundation for the multitude of illnesses and diseases prevalent in our affluent society. The depressing fact of the matter remains that it is one of the most preventable of all conditions... eat less, eat healthier, and exercise occasionally. It's a simple formula of calories in v. calories out that if applied can add years onto one's life. It's not only the obese individual's life who is affected either... the majority of their poor eating habits are adopted by their children and the perpetual cycle of obesity continues.

(Male) Feminism is a term that has been distorted and mutilated from its initial definition. It no longer represents civil rights for all exploited and downtrodden demographics, it no longer supports equality or promotes an egalitarian society. It has regressed and become nothing more than a scapegoat of a term utilized by individuals who feel entitled to something beyond equality. It has become a movement bogged down by individuals claiming equality for all, when in reality they advocate for a matriarchy. It went from a respectable movement that I once found myself able to identify with and advocate for, to a movement that is nothing short of Female Exceptionalism.
I have since stopped referring to myself as a Feminist, for they no longer represent anything that I would like to be a associated with. I am an Egalitarian, and neo-Feminist theory appears to be in direct contrast to that position.
In short, my opinion of Feminism is that it was once a respectable movement that has since devolved into something that is practically unrecognizable and almost in complete contrast from its initial characteristics.
Note: While this opinion does not cover all self-proclaimed Feminists (there are still a good portion who fight for equality--- although the good they accomplish seems to be undone by the radical neo-Feminists advocating for a matriarchical society) the ones it does cover tarnish the movement for the rest of the individuals who still abide by the founding principles.

Hillary Clinton is playing the woman card too early submitted by TheJubJubBird to politics

I believe it's highly likely she will win the nomination, seeing how the financial elite have been funding her campaign and they usually get what they want... once she acquires the nomination, I'm sure she'll win the election because the majority of America will equate it to voting for the lesser of two evils. Unfortunately, the majority refuse to vote third party and end up succumbing to the petty bipartisan political system by voting for either Republican or Democrat, even though only a small margin of the population agrees with the extremities of either one of these parties. They'd rather be on the winning side even if they don't necessarily agree with what that side represents.
The presidential election process is a sham, the ultimate Potemkin democratic process. Sadly, we all seem to fall for it every four years because of the indoctrinated Us V. Them mentality so prevalent in our society. We equate it to a sports match (we all know how much we love those!)... My team versus your Team... when in reality, the two teams have been colluding from the start...the Referees have all been paid off, but the audience sneers and cheers anyway.

Both the UK and the US benefit financially from the unrest perpetuated by America throughout the international community (eg. arms deals, etc.), so it's not surprising that their is a possible connection between the two.
Another question worth asking, although the answer seems obvious enough: Will the perpetrators be brought up on charges? Unfortunately not.

Corruption is universal, so I am willing to subscribe to the latter explanation.
Anyone else skeptical over whether the aide is solely to blame on this one, or if he is just unlucky enough to be the scapegoat for the corruption uncovered?
