Who is the favorite for the NFC South this year? submitted by ALViper to NFL

Truron 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

As it stands right now, I'm going with Carolina. The Saints got really unlucky with injuries last year, but I think there are too many uncertainties at key positions (WR, LB, etc.) for them right now. I can't see Atlanta or TB improving enough to make them contenders for the division this year. Then again, this is the NFC South so who really knows.

Do you think there will be much of a following from r/Eagles? submitted by scorpion_narwhal to Eagles

Truron 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

I think we'll get a few new users, but I wouldn't expect a whole bunch. All of reddit's football subs are really removed from all of the drama that brought the last wave of new users over here, and since most are pretty well run there's really no reason to move.

Right now I'm spending time on both, but we'll see what happens in the future. I'll go wherever there's a good discussion/community.

Who do you think will be the comeback player of the year in 2015? submitted by Truron to NFL

As a Philly fan, I'm really holding out hope that Bradford makes a huge comeback however likely/unlikely that might be. I dunno if Peterson would be eligible, but I definitely think he's going to put up some great numbers this year.

What do you guys think will/should happen in Brady's appeal? submitted by dukeOvandals to NFL

I think Goodell's mind is already made up. I'd be really surprised if the suspension is totally lifted, no way he makes himself look that weak. I've seen a lot of people speculating that it could be reduced to two games and I think that's fair. Plus, Goodell cutting the suspension from four games to two gives him the opportunity to present himself as tough but fair... If there's still anyone out there who would buy that.

Eagles sign OG John Moffitt submitted by Truron to Eagles

I can't see this as any more than a depth signing, Moffitt hasn't played any football since 2013. He seems like a fun guy to have in the locker room though, back when he played his Twitter was always pretty funny.

The Best Eagles I Never Saw: Norm Willey, Seventeen Sacks In One Game? submitted by Truron to Eagles

I thought this was a pretty nice write up on somewhat of a forgotten player. 17 sacks or not, that must have been one heck of a game to watch.
