This is seriously huge for the site. It might not be the best press, but it will definitely draw people in.
The thing that bothers me about articles like this is that they don't ever examine or explain what is really meant by "social justice" or "SJW". To the average reader, without context,...

The Guy in Charge of the DEA Just Said Medical Marijuana is a "Joke" submitted by axolotl__peyotl to news

You're right. There are some medical uses for marijuana, but it is no where near the miracle drug that most of the out-there pro-pot people claim. No one wants to admit that most medicinal claims are just attempts to get a foot in the door towards legality though. There is a legitimate pro-freedom case to make for pot. I just wish people would stick to that other than the ridiculous woo-woo nonsense about pot being a cure all.

A big bowl of shit makes a hell of a paper weight and fertilizer too. That doesn't mean it's the best thing for those uses.
Pot has myriad medicinal uses, but let's not pretend that if it didn't also have the side benefit of being a cheap and fun high that most people would even give a shit about it. Take the high away and the medical marijuana industry dies a quick death.

Honestly, I don't give a shit. People can care about more than one thing at a time. Self-righteously whining that not enough people care about your cause is idiotic.

This is absolutely shameful. The mods have to be getting paid to do this because I cannot believe someone could be that tremendous of a corporate whore for free. One of the biggest trade deals in the history of mankind being shoved through without any real public oversight, and the mods of r/news are pretending it is just "politics". Fucking shameful.
