[Spoilers] Charlotte - Episode 2 Discussion Thread submitted by Kaysic to anime

ShinsekaiYori 0 points 6 points (+6|-0) ago

The opening just might be my favourite opening ever.

An interesting thing in the opening is that the near the end of the OP the MC's little sister runs down the same path that Nao and Yuu went to when they went outside with Nao's brother. I hope that that's just some reused assets and not some foreshadowing, but Yuu's ability is the one a government would be most interested in...

[Discussion] Summer 2015 - 3 Episode Check-In submitted by voldenoir to anime

Gakkou Gurashi!: AOTS, quite possibly AOTY. It's just great. If you haven't watched episode 1 yet, I advise you to just open Crunchyroll and watch it right now. Don't see its MAL/AniList/Hummingbird page before, it spoils episode 1.

Classroom Crisis: Ehh. It's not terrible, but it hasn't showed its meat yet (if it ever will). I think episode 4 will be a make it or break it point for it.

Charlotte: Best OP ever. Show is good, but the serious parts could have more impact while the humor (IMO) should have been worked on more.

Durarara!!x2 Ten: I have no strong feelings towards it, the show is not for me. However, after watching 37 episodes before x2 Ten aired, I feel like I'm in too far to drop it.

Gangsta.: I'm not sure how much I like the superpower-ness of dogtags here. Besides that it's really good, and having adults as MCs is a really refreshing change of pace.

GATE: Pretty disappointed in the censorship, I haven't read it seems like the manga was much better with this. First episode wasn't too good, but the last 2 were just fine.

Monster Musume: Why do I keeping watching this. Why do I keep watching this. I'm most likely going to drop it next episode. This is a show where I can't help but be disappointed in. How many shows have clearly non-human main characters? Not very many. Seeing how mythical and not-so mythical (jellies...) species interact with human society would be interesting. Using it as a backdrop for a generic ecchi harem is not.

Overlord: Feels similar to Log Horizon, but this one has actual violence! One of the shows I look forwards to every week, and I love having a non-human-looking MC.

Ranpo Kitan: Weird is the best word to describe it. Writings pretty bad but the shows weirdness manages to keep me watching.

Rokka no Yuusha: The monster CGI is absolutely terrible, rest of the show is really good. Setting is also really interesting, I haven't seen any anime with a Mayan (or Native American in general) setting before.

Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai: Possibly the funniest anime I've watched yet, and under a message of anti-government censorship. I think its great.

Chaos Dragon: Animation's pretty (except for those eye designs), show is shit. I've dropped it on episode 3.

Ushio to Tora: I'm not interested in shounen battles or 90s shows, so I'm not really interested in it. If you do like any of those things then this will be great for you.

God Eater: Still on episode 2.

Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya 2wei Herz: Not even aired yet -.-

Joukumachi no Dandelion, Kuusen Madoushi Kouhosei no Kyoukan: Dropped those on episode 2, the former is boring and the second is a generic harem.

Steam currently has 1377 games available for Linux. If you want to know what games you have more specifically that support Linux, just download an Ubuntu ISO, open it in a virtual machine or a Live USB, install Steam, and log in.

You don't need DX12, Vulkan does the same thing but hasn't been created just to lock users into Microsoft's ecosystems.
