First, they want us to leave and go elsewhere. Now, they want us back? I don't understand. Why are we "stuck with Reddit?"

This reminded me of a quote from Fahrenheit 451. So I looked it up so I could share it here.

"Cram them full of noncombustible data, chock them so damned full of 'facts' they feel stuffed, but absolutely 'brilliant' with information. Then they'll feel they're thinking, they'll get a sense of motion without moving. And they'll be happy, because facts of that sort don't change. Don't give them any slippery stuff like philosophy and sociology to tie things up with. That way lies melancholy."

Dollar Store Motor Oil Will Ruin Your Engine submitted by HWY__395 to pics

It's small engine oil, like what you put in your lawn mower, so it's still used regularly.

The national debt is 19 trillion dollars. If every man, woman and child paid $50,000 today, the national debt would be reduced to only 1 trillion, 500 hundred billion dollars tomorrow. submitted by 8_billion_eaters to Showerthoughts

What did you use for your math? According to World Bank the US population in 2014 was 318.86 million (and that's the most recent from a quick search so I used it). I took 19,000,000,000,000-(318,860,000*50,000) and got 3.507e12. Which is 3 trillion 507 billion. I think you rounded up to 350 million for population, and you missed a zero. When I rounded to 350 million for population, I got the same answer as OP.

I'll never let them take away what earning the rank of Eagle meant to me. These decisions causing this crap are made by the national councils, which are filled with awful people, who need to be kicked out. It's not the troops themselves. The scouts I know are very upset with all of this.

Niggerized dogs aren't domesticated, they're.... Wait, what? submitted by antiliberalsociety to funny

It's such a shit mentality for them to have that it's okay for their dog to cause problems for everyone else and that they don't have to train it. It shows me that they don't even care about the dog enough. Why in the hell would you get one if you aren't going to take care of it? I'm not saying you have to put all your effort into the dog, you just have to spend a little bit of time learning how to make it listen to your commands, because once you learn the proper behavior, they'll do exactly that. Listen to every command you give. And the owners won't even go that far. Sorry you have to put up with shitty people, but hope you don't hate the dogs. It isn't their fault, they're just dogs with shitty owners.
