Islamic State uses theology to justify rape, enslavement of Yazidi women submitted by 221bBS to news

Don't buy that. Islam (like all the abrahamic religions) is incredibly intolerant. Tolerance for religion is dumb, because essentially this is supporting beliefs that are fundamentally intolerant. There are so many intolerant verses in most religions that are older because they came from societies that were way less tolerant. - Someone can point to a messed up quote from the bible or koran (hindu caste system is bullshit too, I just know more about these religions) and just have all discussion shut down because others say "You can interpret killing men who have sex with men as anything you want!" No, you can't. And just because people value their belief in intolerance, doesn't mean we should be tolerant of that belief.

Yes some religious people interpret it differently. But you can't pretend the original fucking Hebrew/Ancient Greek/Arabic can be interpreted differently when it's pretty fucking clear what it said (and how it was practiced originally).

tl;dr Hitler's belief system was Nazism, but we shouldn't be tolerant of that, should we?

EDIT: DISREGARD ALL OF THIS I AM WRONG DOWNVOAT. /user/MagneticHammer is completely right, I had a flashback to my Computer Architecture module. Refer to their comment.

Each computer is a universal turing machine. This means it can simulate or EMULATE (look up video game emulators for why microsoft is so fucking full of shit on this) any other computer in existence if it has enough computing power (processor ram etc.) to do so.

All games consoles are computers. Computers with a limiting operating system, but computers nonetheless.

Didn't think a gamer would know about computers, did you, microsoft?

Is this from Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen? I've been bingeing on that game recently, it feels like playing some kind of From Software souls-type game, but with the addictiveness of a turn-based jrpg (for some reason the addictiveness reminds me of disgaea actually). What's the source for the pic, OP? My google fu is not strong enough. (EDIT: Oh wow there was a watermark on the picture. ;-;)

Windows 10 Can Disable Pirated Games From The Pirate Bay And Other Similar Websites And Counterfeit Hardware submitted by Calza to technology

I'd say thieving - I mean obviously pirating is where you actually take someone's idea from their brain and they don't even remember what it was. People just don't understand, when you pirate something, you PHYSICALLY alter the creator's brain to take away their ideas and thoughts. That is the definition of stealing.

The most blatant race mixing propaganda you'll ever see in a 30 second commercial. Why is this part of an agenda? submitted by deleted to news

I'm glad of this. I find too many tv shows etc. nowadays show couples as being the same race. This might make more sense in the US where there are higher percentages of minority races in general, but in the UK MOST couples where one of the couple are a minority race, I'd say at least half the time the couple will be interracial. I don't like how TV doesn't represent them - like "All races should be equal!" but apparently mixed race couples shouldn't be shown on TV? That must really fuck some mixed race children up.
