Expose every female member of the bully hunter witch hunters for the frauds and cunts they really are

I mean, it was proven it was all prerecorded, a marketing campaign to sell headsets, and was the very definition of fake news, "we were just starting a conversation"? And already exposed?

District 9 sequel submitted by Monkeyblaine to movies

Project2501 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

His totally not Battle Angel Alita meets Halo "spiritual sequel" was terrible apart from a few sequences (which in retrospect, might be better then Cameron's official adaptation coming out later).

His totally not Appleseed meets Ex Machina was even worse.

Right now, he's more indie then indie, with a studio that makes short films, that may or may not turn into a feature length, using steam and youtube to "gauge interest". Not entirely sure if that is due to him literally making worse and worse films, so is essentially blacklisted, or if he has such a hard on for writing his own "original" science fiction stories only, that he is willingly going after different type of funding, or data collection on audience tastes. I would make comments about his ability to write any type of story, outside of the first, but that would require watching any of the Oats Studios short films. But man, turns out I really hated Chappie.

Anybody remember or want to rewatch new remakes? submitted by Conspirologist to movies

I remember Dredd more so then the Stallone one. Mainly because it wasn't really a remake, but an "original" story. And before I get into specifics, yes, both it and The Raid started principle production shit around the same time, The Raid just was finished earlier. And they both took heavy inspiration from Die Hard. Which makes them both better action movies then most released this past decade. And weirdly, inspired a new onslaught of films, like John Wick.

Total Recall I remember the flying car chase, but yeah, its story fell flat. And I swear it is better then the new Blade Runner. And the American Ghost in the Shell for that matter. Robocop was trash though.

So yeah, right now, feeling like rewatching Dredd. And maybe Total Recall if I have nothing better to do. But not The Thing, and I am not talking The Thing From Another World or The Thing [1982]. Or that Evil Dead one. I will rewatch Terminator 3 then any of the films that came after. But then again, I haven't even been bothered to watch Justice League. the new Star Wars, or that Prometheus 2 "Alien reboot", and a slew of action/science fiction films that on paper, I should have been primed audience to see. So I understand what you mean about "impersonal studio crap".
