Insider Says Reddit Plans Lawsuit Against submitted by deleted to news

Guys... this website isn't even a real news website. Just look at their front page.

Also, that email is so fake it hurts. Shouldn't upvoat something this stupid, you'll give this place a bad name.

Why does the history channel give aliens any air time? Am I completely off base believing that it's a bunch of garbage? submitted by TrojanGoat to AskVoat

Don't forget the fact that Cable television is going the way of the dodo and being replaced by things like Netflix, youtube, and other online streaming services. History channel could have brought their channel online and been THE place for history documentaries, but no, they went for cheap click-bait-like programs and mockumentaries in an attempt to appeal to the lowest common denominator that their executives believed would bring in all the cash.

Just another case of easy money undermining integrity of a company or channel.

Chuck Todd: The More Voters See Of Hillary The Less They Like Her submitted by blackhawks-fan to news

I can't really stand any of the candidates, Hillary the least of them.

Fixing America's voting system to take away electoral voting and actually disallow parties might be what should be done. Giving each person who wants to run a set amount of funds instead of giving the rich the best chance to advertise themselves and get further funding from corporations might fix quite a few problems.

Edit: Clarification. I worded the above sentence wrong. Was trying to say that the rich have the best chance of funding themselves to win and that leads to corporations paying more attention to said rich and giving them further funding.

Then again, I'm a fan of Norway's system of a monarchy/democracy/welfare system. Ranked freest country in the world baby! Who knows if it could be translated to a country of 300+ million though...

Also, the founding fathers of America probably didn't see the monster known as lobbying and corporate interest coming. Sad that laws weren't put in place as soon as both of those were obviously a problem.

A subreddit that Reddit never really had was one where new youtube videos only could be posted, like videos that are less than two weeks old only. It would be really cool if Voat could get something like that going so new youtube videos could get some exposure.
