We're actually leaving reddit, aren't we? submitted by Thrill_Ho to MeanwhileOnReddit

Agreed, I think the content here is much better. Reddit over the past few days has been like Facebook for me, I'll check in every few hours or wait up to a day or two to finally check it. Browse through the first page or two of posts, get bored with the stupid memes/meaningless posts/rants/etc and then come back to Voat. It'd be nice to have a little more activity here, which should come with time but the comment section of everything isn't filled with puns, stupid jokes and odds are someone will actually see my comment versus it being buried immediately.

Reddit has joined the ranks of Bing. Great for porn, but not much else. submitted by ResponsibleAdult to Showerthoughts

Then we'll get all the Gone Wilders. I'm okay with this.

Galileo, the leaked hacking software from Hacker Team (defense contractor), contains code to insert child porn on a target's computer. This is how they get rid of people.... submitted by Emptyeternity to news

Alright, I feel bad for making comments before actually reading further into the code and realizing this is just an inside joke from the programming team. Their entire source is on Github, if anyone is interested and there's further, more detailed information about this specific line of code here:

But at this point there's no evidence to support it. Sure, it's pretty stupid considering this has been released on GitHub to include comments/null values such as this but if you look at any closed source software you'll find tons of stupid comments/null values/etc included within them. Not to say it's impossible for them to provide that exact functionality, but there's nothing to base accusations on at this point.

If you want to be done with your reddit account, you can do better than deleting it. Consider programmatically overwriting all your comments with an exit message. Full instructions are included. submitted by frankenmine to MeanwhileOnReddit

No, I wouldn't. With your analogy about animals they're clearly being harmed in some way shape or form if it's considered "deplorable conditions". So, if they could speak to humans then we're under the assumption that none of them would approve of what is happening to them but they have no choice in the matter. Whereas Reddit users are choosing to stay there, so obviously they don't care enough to switch sites or leave themselves. So, since they clearly don't care why should I?

But if the women were only playing multiplayer games on their phone there's no voice option at all.
