They failed to clarify - I take this to mean that as a straight, white male I am free to walk up and slap these bitches upside the head.

Seriously - it's not like people are writing stories about Pinterest being filled mostly by females (I actually don't know if that is true but I am willing to be it is); or The Knot with females planning their fantasy weddings; or Christian Mingle needing to attract more Jews or Atheists or some shit to balance it out. I don't think everything in the world needs to be a flat leveled off Plataea of sameness and equal always.

It is funny to me how people cannot see this. Statistics are literally based around mathematics and have no bias in them. I tend to be a very literal/logical oriented person which is why I love math ... it's generally speaking not open to interpretation ... X + Y = Z ; very concrete and simple to understand.
Where am I going with this? If we look at statistics they essentially just show you trends and classifications. Suddenly, though, you're a racist if you point out stats that seem to classify a trend that a particular grouping of humans are performing certain behaviors most often. The math doesn't lie, so they'll pull out other interpretive shit to try and justify their lack of wanting to accept the results they see. If anything they're doing more harm to the situation in my opinion because the longer they keep us dancing around the real facts/stats the longer we fail to address it openly and the longer we fail to figure out what, if anything, can and should be done regarding breaking the statistical trends.

You either left home without your sarcasm tag this morning, or you're trolling and/or flat out ignorant to even suggest that. Choose one.

I dunno - in my opinion they have nothing on some of those maniac 9/11 conspiracy nut-jobs. (I'm talking about the ones who made the dumb-ass documentary or whatever and claim that it was all completely an inside job and suggest explosives were used at WTC and like a rocket rather than a plane hit in DC).

Agreed. I think the worst, most offensive aspect of these posts isn't that they exist on here, but rather that there is a blatant attempt to manipulate and mislead the masses with sensationalized headlines, incorrect/missing information, and general propaganda techniques for the purpose of pushing an agenda. Those who use such tactics are doing a disservice to their cause be eroding their own credibility and are not being very responsible in an attempt to garner a collective "outrage" against all police.
If there is an incedent about police legitimately using excessive force then I am all for it being publicized, and I am all for punishment to weed out those bad actors. By the same merit I think positive acts of great service should be brought to light all thr same - unfortunately no one on the anti-police side of the fence wants to concede that many cops are doing great things because it weakens their own narrative in their minds (which is bullshit). I almost feel like going out and video recording cops doing good things so I can plaster those everywhere to try and provide some counterbalance to the situation. And to be fair - I think there are many within the police force and police unions who are equally doing a disservice by always acting like none of the officers who are clearly wrong have actually done anything wrong. The best thing is for both sides to de-escalate the extremists, weed out the bad seeds, and allow for clearer heads to prevail and try to rectify the situation in a civilized way. But ... I don't hold out much hope for that these days.
